Yoga Training at Ugandan Birth House, May 2017!

Savasana-Amy-Martin-Photo-W_thumbThis Spring (May, 2017) join Bobby Bessey, B.Sc., E-RYT 500, RPYT, Birth Doula, HypnoBirthing Instructor and mother of two, in Luwero, Uganda to immerse yourself in a yoga training with a prenatal and holostic women’s health focus AND have the cultural experience of a lifetime!

This 40 hour yoga alliance registered training is a cultural immersion that you will never forget! Bobby is volunteering to instruct this training, along with local Ugandan midwives, as a fundraiser for Shanti Uganda. All profit goes directly into this program, which provides safe birthing support for Ugandan women and income generating skills for mothers living with HIV/AIDS in Uganda. Deepen your own yoga practice and learn skills that you can bring home and share with expectant mothers. In this training you will develop new skills, meet new people, explore Uganda, meditate, do yoga and have lots of fun as we contribute to an organization that is making a huge positive impact on this community!

NO SPECIFIC YOGA EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY to take part in this incredible opportunity. An interest in yoga, prenatal health and wellness, and a love of experiencing the world by interacting with local people is all you need to get the most out of this once in a lifetime cultural experience. This training will take place on site at the Shanti Uganda birth house. On a daily basis you will chat and laugh together with the very women who are benefiting from the funds you provide by participating in this program.
